Color or B&W Internal Video Assist for Aaton LTR (Reg16 or Super16)

Aaton LTR

The CCD image sensor and video assist electronics are mounted inside the camera body. The power necessary to supply the video assist is taken internally from the camera's 4 pin XLR power input receptacle. You can use an on-board battery in a regular way without an adapter. Our internal installation will give you a picture that is brighter than that of the external one because the CCD image sensor is installed closer to the beamsplitter.

CCD Color Integrated Video Assist for Aaton LTR

This video assist gives you the best possible image (brightness and contrast) for the Aaton LTR camera because the high sensitivity CCD (Super HAD) image sensor is mounted just behind the camera's pellicle beam splitter. With a CCD offering 380,000 effective pixels, high-resolution images can be obtained. Using the white balance switch you can choose from among three white balance modes (3200K, 5600K, ATW) to select the best settings for shooting conditions and more appropriate color compensation. The electronic shutter switch offers three levels of shutter speed (1/60s, 1/100s, CCD IRIS) to allow you to match the shutter speed to the shooting conditions. When you set the switch to the CCD IRIS function, the shutter speed is adjusted automatically, based on the amount of light allowed to enter, ensuring the most appropriate level of video image signal. All original AATON connectors are accessible. The on-board battery can be used only with a power adapter.
